plantations.

One of the side effects of growing Christmas trees is that many species of Wild animals enjoy the thick cover that the trees generate. For Christmas tree farmers, some of this wildlife is more welcome than others. Deer and rabbit can seriously damage crops, whilst wasps, hover-flys and ladybirds consume athids that would otherwise blight Christmas tree growth.
